“Rain and Thunder” is the latest single from New York’s own Morning Fuzz (Frank Fussa – vocals, guitar; Christopher Johanidesz – bass, vocals; Michael Cullari – guitar, vocals; Jesse Steffen – drums). The rock band’s latest release is part of a new batch of songs recorded at Water Music studios in Hoboken, New Jersey, as they work toward completing their upcoming album.

Formed in 2009, Morning Fuzz has been pleasing critics and audiences alike with their addicting hooks, memorable lyrics, and dual-guitar sound. They’ve worked with renowned producers such as Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) and most recently Lou Giordano (The Ataris, Goo Goo Dolls), who helped focus and fine tune their latest sound.

“Rain and Thunder” was inspired by the rapidly changing world, and the effect those changes have on our everyday lives – especially in New York:

This place I once knew
I walk like I’m a stranger up to
There’s nothing I can change or undo
I am not the same as you

Now available on iTunes, be sure to check out their lyric music video for “Rain and Thunder,” shot entirely on a GoPro camera to capture a day driving through NYC and Brooklyn. Then, be sure to catch them live this Saturday, June 25th at Gold Sounds in Bushwick.
